The Origin Story
We didn't set out to start a brand. We set out to solve a single problem: gloves that lost their grip after three sessions, stitching that ripped at the thumb, and paying premium prices for generic materials. Here is the path from our first prototype to the Orca gloves you wear today.
Chapter One — The Obsession
As a kid, I was obsessed with goalkeeper gloves. I’d watch the pros on TV and notice details missing from the pairs I could buy, like their latex wrist straps. I’d cut straps off other gloves and mix and match parts to recreate what I saw. I always wanted to understand what made theirs different and why we couldn’t have the same
Chapter Two — The Hard Lessons
I thought I’d found a factory. Instead, I was dealing with a middleman who overcharged me and supplied cheaper materials and latex than I’d asked for. It cost me money, but taught me how much I still needed to learn about who was making my gloves—and what was actually going into them
Chapter Three — The Right Partner
After hours searching forums, LinkedIn and manufacturing records, I found a factory that had produced gloves for a leading goalkeeper brand. They cost more, but the difference was clear from our first conversation. Through calls and samples, we refined the fit, feel and colourways together. Finally, I had a partner who cared about getting the gloves right.
Chapter 4 — The Breakthrough
By pairing a premium German latex face with a completely redesigned neoprene wrist strap, we unlocked a glove that fits like a second skin while maintaining an industrial grade seal against wet grass.
Chapter 5 — The Glove Today
The current Orca series is the culmination of every ripped seam, every wasted prototype, and every hour spent on Spain's training fields. It is a glove made to be abused, built to catch, and constructed to last.

Every stitch, every latex cut, and every single strap choice was born from my own mistakes in the net. If it doesn't give me absolute confidence when diving onto wet concrete, it doesn't leave the workshop. We made these because we got tired of compromise.
